Abstract
Eisenmenger syndrome is defined by elevated pulmonary vascular pressures and a right-to-left shunt across a defect connecting the systemic and pulmonary circulation. During pregnancy, this condition results in significant morbidity and mortality. We report the case of a 36-year-old patient admitted to our facility at 35 weeks of gestation for the management of Eisenmenger syndrome due to a patent ductus arteriosus during pregnancy.
