Abstract
The relevance of need of updating the organization and quality control of independent work of students of not chemical specialties in the conditions of a bachelor degree when studying the course of "Biochemistry of the person" is reflected in the article, meanings of the concept of "organization and quality control of independent work" and its content are designated, views of researchers of this problem are described. The understanding of specifics of the organization and quality control of independent work in the conditions of higher education institution is given.
