Abstract
The paper investigates the rating of political leaders and parties of the Russian Federation and analyzes such concepts as public opinion: the formation and manipulation. The article also includes the results of the conducted sociological research with the rating measurement of political leaders and parties on the basis of opinion of Bryansk State University students.
