DIAGNOSTICS OF PNE UMONIA DURING OUTPATIENT TREATMENT STAGE

During autumn and spring season general practitioner most commonly faces with an increase in respiratory diseases. The purpose of this article is to remind the practitioner the basic aspects and principles of diagnosis of pneumonia in the prehospital phase. In the present study the etiology and pathogenesis, classification applied, as well as the clinical picture and the basic principles of diagnosis of pneumonia at outpatient treatment stage are considered. The paper presents the main features of pneumonia detected during routine palpation, percussion and auscultation of the respiratory system organs. At the end of this article the main indications for hospitalization are given.
