Monasteries of the Kharkov diocese of the XІX ? beginning of the XX centuries: Svyatogorsk monastery

In the conditions of reforming of all spheres of ability to live of a society at the present stage there is a basic change of traditional sights at a church and religion role. It is displayed and in the accepted laws of Ukraine. They give the chance to revive activity of the spiritual centers. Among them is the Svyatogorsky monastery of the XIX - beginning of the XX centuries. It is a cultural monument of Donetsk region. Article aims to investigate the activities of the Svyatogorsk monastery in the XIX - beginning of the XX centuries and to define its role in the spiritual rebirth of the region.
