Abstract

Comparison of the Ukrainian and interstate (for CIS countries) regulations on construction soil classification is performed in the work. Valuation of their strengths and weaknesses has been done. Recommendations for inclusion in new regulations, a number of soil characteristics, which are not in the existing standards are given. Links to similar European and American regulations attached.
