Strategic management problems of socio-economic development of Ukraine taking into account the decentralization processes

In the article is shown the problems of strategic management in Ukraine. None of the classical functions of strategic management (planning, implementation, motivation, control) is performed. The current strategic plan does not take into account modern technological trends of development, resulting in the deterioration of the economic situation. In the context of decentralization the resource consolidation opportunities are reduced. However, the strategic management system as a tool for enhancement of their effective use is not working. Thus, the decentralization must take into account the strategic dimension and it must harmoniously integrated into the strategic management of national development.
