Discussed the problems of formation of structure of the company's financial capital, depending on the influence of various factors. It analyzed the main approaches to optimize the volume of equity and debt, as well as factors that affect the ratio of these proportions.Identified and characterized features of formation of structure of the companies of financial capital under the influence of external and internal factors. Among the most significant external factors: macroeconomic dynamics; the current monetary and fiscal policy; business risks; development of capital markets. The main internal factors are economic activity; age and size of the company; the duration of the operating cycles of production.
