Military special competence border guard officers as a subject of research

The article deals with the main directions of research of the problem of military special competence of the officers of border guards. The author analyzes the works in which there is a speech about the historical tradition of preparing young people to military-professional work. The article deals with administrative aspect and the individual components of military special competence of the border guard officer, particularly its formation in the preparation of the master system. The scientist also considers studies on the features of tactics, the experience of local wars and armed conflicts, combat and tactical actions. Much attention is given to works, which revealed the specifics of training officers of special military disciplines in general and tactics of warfare in particular.
