Abstract
The analysis results of the long-term record of monthly and seasonal precipitation (1960-2014) at the “Mozdok” meteorological station (m/s) located in dry steppe zone of the Central Pre-Caucasian region (137 m above sea level) are presented. In the characterized area of meteorological station coverage testing ranges of the North-Caucasian Research Institute of Mountain and Foothill Agriculture, Vladikavkaz Scientific Center of the RAS?Oktyabrsky branch are situated. The need for modern data on 1961-1990 climatic normals and on 1991-2014 changes of precipitation regime for months and seasons is caused by need for experiment studies organization at development of systems of agriculture and agrotechnologies of crops cultivation in the conditions of temperature rise, continentality of climate and tendencies to lack of precipitation in the foliated season. The results are obtained on the basis of methods of statistics and analysis of climatic factors. For identification of tendencies of climatic indicators changes the Cox-Stewart's criterion was used.
