THE RELATION BETWEEN WORKAHOLISM TENDENCIES AND SERVICE ORIENTATION OF STAFF WORKING IN HOSPITALITY BUSINESS ENTERPRISES: A RESEARCH IN TRA1 REGION

Abstract
The aim of this study is to determine the workaholism tendency employees of hospitality accounting and the relationship between the service orientating and workaholism in TRA1 region. In this context “workaholism Battery Scale” and “Customer Orientation Scale” was created from a survey of form using. Survey was made using the face to face and drop-collect technique in TRA1 regions employees of hospitality accounting joined the research. Prepared in accordance with the relevant literature of hypotheseses to be tested, correlation analysis, t test, Mann Whitney U and Kruskal Wallis test. As a result of the finding, it has been observed that, the personnel working in accommodation companies are o may become workaholics, and it has been determined a positive, significant relation between workaholism and service orientation. However, an increase in the tendencies of workaholism will cause a decrease in personnel's service levels. For that reason, both individual and organizational service orientation should be provided by preventing workaholism in organizations
