Abstract
In the article the work of the local judicial organs on the territory of Grand Duchy of Lithuania in XVI century is considered, as well as their structure and formation. Moreover, in the given material the peculiarities of work of each local court are noted and the issues, which arose during their work are emphasized. The detailed analysis of the role of Grand prince at formation of judicial machinery's structure and at implementation of justice itself is carried out. The competence of judges and other officials of each mentioned court is also determined.
