COGNITIVE ASPECTS OF KNOWING A SECOND LANGUAGE

The article deals with the issues of a second language. The subject of the article is relevant because the issue of the second language acquisition and other languages is the most acute in connection with the globalization and expansion of the international contacts. So far, the theory of teaching a second language is poorly developed on the cognitive basis. Therefore, the present article focuses on the use of the cognitive approach in teaching the non-native language, and there is the possibility of forming of the linguacognitive base on the foundation of the secondary language consciousness of a bilingual personality, making its components, and there is the commonality of mental images studied, standing beyond the bodies of the signs.
