Abstract

In the article one of the innovative educational methods is reviewed ? education by means of reflection. Reflection is the ability of a student to set a task independently, choose the ways of its solution and then analyse the results and compare them with the tasks set with the opportunity to distinguish the knowledge acquired and the material needed to work on. The ways of learning reflection, integrating the creation of conditions for reflection, the usage of methodological techniques and application of pedagogic techniques for self-analysis are considered. An interesting creative form of reflection is examined, which is cinquain, giving an opportunity for students to pose the acquired material in brief. The methods of teaching chemistry in two disciplines are suggested.
