Abstract
Clinical manifestations of hypercalcemia can range from mild anorexia to severe cognitive dysfunction and encephalopathy. In patients whom malignancy is unlikely, the presence hypercalcemia should raise the suspicion of primary hyperparathyroidism. We report a case of patient who developed hypercalcemic encephalopathy during the course of the treatment for primary hyperparathyroidism. To complicate the picture he had calcific pancareatitis, pancreatic endocrine insufficiency, DKA and acute diarrhoeal disease
