MILLER FISHER SYNDROME- RARE VARIANT OF GUILLIAN BARRE SYNDROME - A CASE REPORT

Miller Fisher Syndrome is a rare variant of Guillian Barre Syndrome. It is characterised by the triad of ophthalmoplegia, ataxia and areflexia. We report a case of 25 year old male patient who presented with findings of ataxia, areflexia and ophthalmoplegia following 10 days of fever. Investigations done showed albumino - cytological dissociation in CSF analysis, MRI BRAIN was normal. Patient responded well with IV Methylprednisolone and Plasmapheresis.
