Abstract
In this article the author deals with the participles in the Russian language. The primary goal is the examination of the participle status: whether participles in this language under study can be regarded as full transposed words or not. In the given article the author studies the issue of participles' formation. Based on the studying of structure and peculiarities of their formation in the Russian language it has been revealed that participles in the Russian language can be taken as full transposed words as there are morphemes that adjectivize a verb.
