Abstract

The problem in this research is the value of students mathematics learning outcomes is still lacking and has not reached the minimum completeness criteria. The subject in this study is students in 2nd grade MI Al-Mustafa Surabaya, there are 18 students, consist of 10 boys and 8 girls. The method in this research is descriptive quantitative method. The instruments in this study is a written test forms of multiple choise and descriptions, student activity sheets and teacher observation, observation sheet teacher's ability to manage learning, students sheet questionnaire responses. The results of this study show that students who complete learning are 75%. Activities of students and teachers are in the ideal time is predetermined. Teacher's ability to manage learning demonstrated the ability level of a good teacher. Students' response to the application of jarimatika method show a positive response. Therefore, jarimatika method is effective to be used in learning multiplication material 2nd grade students of MI Al-Mustafa Surabaya.
