Abstract
The problem in this research is the development of mathematics student worksheets in prism material VIII class with a scientific approach. This study aims to describe development of mathematics student worksheets VIII class prism material with a scientific approach and students response. Research development of student worksheets using learning instrument development model according Thiagarajan consisting of four phases, namely the definition, design, development, and deployment. Student worksheet is validated by two validators consisting of lecturers and teachers of mathematics. This study tested in junior DR. Soetomo the second semester of 2014/2015 academic year on April 29 to May 20, 2015. The results obtained from the average total validation of the feasibility aspect of the content, language and presentation of 4.19 with very valid category. Assessment worksheet students from all states validator can be used with minimal revision. Based on test results obtained learning completeness percentage of 93.94%. Questionnaire responses of students to the student worksheets obtained a percentage of 84.95% with a very strong category. It concluded that students mathematics worksheet with a scientific approach is feasible.
