Abstract
In the article it has been discovered the theoretical aspects of innovative development of industry in the region. It has been proved that today Ukraine's national interests require immediate and effective measures to preserve its scientific and technological potential, ensuring effective use to overcome the crisis in the economic and social development. Ukraine lacks an effective mechanism for investing massive technological changes. Ministries and other central executive authorities do not have sufficient funds for the innovative transformation of relevant sectors. Therefore, a promising direction to solve problems in this field is to move domestic production on an innovative path of development. Isolate the main factors hampering innovation activities in Ukraine. It is concluded that the development of industry in Ukraine in recent years occurred randomly, without determining compliance with national priorities and, in the absence of deliberate state industrial policy. Neglect of state in national market characteristics and mechanical use in various inconsistent macroeconomic policy measures have led to sweeping inflation, a sharp decline in production and a loss of control over economic activity in the country. It is proved that at the current stage of development of Ukraine it should be the formation of mechanism in innovative industrial development of the region based on evidence-based approaches.
