Place of peace among other social values of medieval society of the Great duchy of Lithuania in XV–XVI centuries

Abstract
As a result of the consideration of theological literature, cronicles аnd monuments of legislation proposed an approach to the analysis of a system of values, which was inherent to the society on the verge of Middle ages and early Modern time. Historiographical base is represented by researches of ukrainian scientists: V. Vasilenko, G. Vynogradov, L. Voytovych, N. Starchenko, N. Yakovenko. Also had been considered studies of foreign authors: M. Bychkova, M. Dovnar-Zapolski, A. Zimin, N. Kazakova, M. Krom, J. Lurie. Source base is represented by narrative and documentary sources: cronicles, legislative acts, property documents and court records. In the article proposed a vision of the role of ideology in social conflicts.
