Abstract

The paper analyzes the use of artistic detail in Bunin's prose as a marker of copy- right overtones. It is one of the major metatext operators and author`s retaining a hint of the special importance of this segment in the text. The image detail is one of the regulators of the correlation "text-metatext", forming a dynamic balance of narrative and linguistic identity of the author
