Abstract
The article presents the results of studying the relationship between relevant spheres of social functioning and satisfaction leading needs 120 adolescents with mild mental retardation aged from 12 to 18 years with different forms of accommodation (boarding school and family). The study was conducted using methods ILK and Luscher color test. The study showed a significant correlation between satisfaction with their quality of life and satisfaction of basic needs, which revealed differences associated with the form of stay.
