Abstract
Epilepsy is a disease, which often leads to serious health and social problems. Epilepsy imposes a number of restrictions in the social sphere, leads to stigmatization of patients, and in some cases to disability. The question of the «specific epileptic changes of personality» is widely discussed in the domestic and foreign literature, but the question of the psychological portraits of the patient is not fully understood. However a significant affects of the interaction between the patient and the doctor may be associated with the development of a psychological setting. The results of our study revealed that the psychological characteristics of epilepsy patients with and without disability groups are different. These features are targeted for psychological correction. Their detection is an important step in the management of patients with epilepsy.
