TENDENCY OF ASSIMILATION OF BORROWED ECONOMY LEXIS IN MODERN RUSSIAN

Mass borrowings lead to enrichment of the Russian language with words reflecting new realities. Though Russian according to the borrowing level relates to languages with moderate openness, however borrowing remains a controversial issue in language-recipient. Certainly, the borrowed lexis reflecting realities and concepts of economic life of the countries now overwhelmingly passes into the Russian vocabulary. In this article against the modern Russian media features of semantics and functioning of the borrowed lexis in the economy field are considered.
