Abstract
Introduction: the Republic of Belarus is characterized by a lack of modern multifactor personality questionnaires that have reasonable psychometric properties to measure the severity of clinically significant of personal features of patients. The purpose of this review is an analysis and synthesis of information on psychometric characteristics of psycho- diagnostic instruments that are available among specialists of this profile for the study of personality in the clinic. Conclusions: 1. Questionnaire of neurotic and neurosis-like disorders or BVNK-300 - potential method, which could be used for a comprehensive assessment of personality in the clinic. However, until now no studies of its psychometric validity have been performed. 2. Development of a new diagnostic tool of personality assessment in the clinic based on Rasch models will allow to receive a high-quality technique.
