INFLUENCE OF LOW-CARBON ENERGY POLICY ON THE EUROPEAN GAS MARKET

In recent decades EU has been consistently introducing measures aimed at the transition to low-carbon energy. The impact of such measures on the EU energy market, in particular the gas market, can not be underestimated. The article analyzes the EU goals, stated in the new package of measures "Clean Energy for Europeans", as well as progress on previously set goals. In addition, the article includes the impact assessment of applied and implemented measures on the main indicators of the EU energy and gas markets.
