The world practice of institutional provision of public debt management

In the article studied foreign experience in the management of government borrowing. Analysis of the debt burden on the economy of the developed countries of the world is given. The basic approaches to the institutional ensure the management of the public debt are provided. It is determined that in the world practice there are three major institutional models of public debt management: government, banking and Agency. The peculiarities of structure of each of the models on the example of the concrete country are made. Recommendations on improvement of the national system of debt management are given.
