Abstract
Supply chain management has become a competitive tool for firms to achieve competitive advantage. Any business operating in product delivery supply chain is faced with an uncertainty cycle. This has become a major problem area and has been attracting attention of many companies, regarding how to address the supply chain uncertainty issues. This paper draws insight on Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) literature and highlights major issues underlying SCRM. There are four major issues regarding SCRM namely identification of supply chain risk sources and drivers, risk assessment, risk mitigation and implementation of SCRM. This literature review paper puts past research finding and then proposes a SCRM framework.
