Abstract
Doubts naturally, shows presence on the ground of “thinking” and “faith” that we still associate with human nature. Therefore, like making its presence felt as a practical phenomenon in the action of thinking and faith for human, “the doubt” we deal with as a problem, is significant for both religion and philosophy in theoretical background as well. In this study, we highlights religion and philosophy in the aspect of comprehension possibility of human and also highlights thinking/ knowledge and belief/ faith phenomena for the aspect of both manifestations of that possibility and area where doubt shows its presence. At the same time, we issued doubt , not with all manifestations in mentioned areas, by limiting it to the context of comprehension of God (knowing the existence of God and accepting). Dealing with thinking and faith in the relationship of “knowledge/doubt” and faith/ doubt parallel with also what we see them as a two tendencies leading people to God. Meanwhile, we want to say that, the theoretical framework, Inevitably to be dealt with , in the aspect of contributing to understand and making sense of the problem, forms almost backbone of this study and also constitutes as an infrastructure to two different studies we prepared about the investigating the problem of the existence possibility of doubt in the context of possibility of comprehension of God.
