ІСТОРИЧНІ ПЕРЕДУМОВИ ВИНИКНЕННЯ ТА СУТНІСТЬ ПОНЯТТЯ «КОРПОРАЦІЯ»

Objective. The purpose of the article is to conduct a critical analysis of reference literature and scientific publications and generalize on this basis the historical background of the origin and nature of the «corporation» definition. Methods. The study used: methods of observation and comparison for research of the historical background of corporations emergence, methods of theoretical generalization and comparison, analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction to organize and clarify the meaning of «corporation». Results. Based on the research the historical aspects of occurrence and the main characteristics of organization forms of business combinations were systematized. The critical analysis of reference and special literature, scientific publications was given, the results of which allowed to systematize the existing approaches to the definition of «corporation» and introduced its own one. Scientific novelty. Scientific and methodical approach to determining the nature of the corporation was improved, which, unlike the existing ones, reveals its essence as a market entity in all aspects of its operation in the most accurate and meaningful way. Practical value. The results are aimed at systematization of the corporation economic foundations in the market environment today.
