Abstract
The purpose of this study was to prove that there was an increase in learning outcomes on the material of hand tools and power tools by applying the model of problem based learning aided education games. This study was an experimental study which was using quasy experiment design. The procedure used in this study was a nonequivalent control group design. The data analysis showed that the means result of learning the material of hand tools and power tools in the experimental group that was originally 59.31 into 85.01, it means there was an increase of 43.33%, whereas in the control group that was originally 64.03 into 74.92, it means there was an increase of 17%. The data analysis showed that the application of problem based learning aided education games could improve learning outcomes in the material of hand tools and power tools.
