Abstract
Objective. The objective of the article is the analysis of innovative activity of food in- dustry enterprises, their innovative development stimulation assessment and the ability to update fixed assets in terms of post-crisis period uncertainty, the assessment of readiness of the industry for transformational change on the basis of innovative - investment ap- proach and objectivation of the need to create conditions promoting the development of innovative processes in the industry. Methods. The methodology of the development and tasks solution are based on a set of research methods. On the basis of system-analytical method the theoretical generali- zation of scientific concepts, developments and proposals, devoted to the stimulation has been carried out. Results. The problems of the food industry transition to an innovative path of devel- opment and the role of innovation in the implementation system the Program of Ukraine economic reforms are specified.
