Abstract

The article is devoted little-explored in the context of Ukrainian national movement in the 60–70 years of 19th century, Ukrainian elements in a suit and interior home patriotic intellectuals. Historiographically Ukrainophile community and its cultural characteristics have been covered in the works of S. Ekelchik, A. Katrenko, N. Pobirchenko, S. Svitlenko and other sources for the writing and publication of archival steel diaries (diary Russov), memoirs (L. Drahomanova-Shishmanova, L. Myschenko, S. Rusova, M. Starytsky), letters (P. Kulish, S. Loboda, P. Zhitetski, G. Kowalewski), literary works (I. Nechuy - Levitsky, Starytsky, A. Konissky). The study highlights the key elements of the Ukrainian, who used Ukrainophiles to create their own culture, as well as the use of these elements in clothing and home improvements. This plot is promising for future use for disciplinary fields of cultural history, family history, history of the body.
