Abstract
Behavioral strategy of population of the Gammalsvensby during the events of the world wars of the XX century is analyzed; policy of the German occupation army towards the Swedes is investigated. On the basis of archival documents attitude of the Soviet government against the Swedes-Volksdeutsche is traced.
