Recreational and healt-improving forests of volyn region

The results of the analysis of categorical structure of forests of Volyn Regional Office of a Forestry and Hunting (VROFH) are presented. Dividing the forests into four categories (forest conservation, scientific, historical, cultural, recreational forests, protection forest, forest exploitation) are presented in the context of forestry and hunting farms of VROFH. The place of recreation and healt-improving forests in the structure of investigated forest enterprises of VROFH is decribed. The analysis of the structure of recreation and healt-improving forests are made. The spatial distribution of recreational points within the forest fund of VROFH, their number and area in forestry, prospects of functioning are analised.
