Abstract
We studied the readiness to take risks and coping strategies of freshmen students in a difficult learning situation. The direct connection between the readiness to risk and coping is revealed: “social contact”, “manipulations”, “aggression”. The “inverse” correlation between the risk readiness and coping strategies is detected: “cautious actions” and “assertive actions”.
