CIVIL SOCIETY AS BASIS OF DEVELOPMENT OF LEGAL STATE IN THE CONTEXT OF CONSTITUTIONAL REFORM

The scientific article is devoted to defining the role of civil society in the development of legal state in the period of constitutional reform in Ukraine. The article considers the issues related to the formation of a civil society and legal state, as well as relations between the state and civil society. The author proves that proper functioning of civil society and the consolidation and enforcement of right and freedoms of human and citizens is possible only in a democratic state that guarantees each citizen rights and freedoms no matter what he or her race, skin colour, political and religious beliefs are.
