The article reveals the substance of the activities of the teachers of children's choral music school No. 1 (Samara city district) aimed at implementing heuristic approaches into the process of family music-playing. They have been performed in the framework of following events: training workshop; festival of family music-playing called “Dad, mom and me – a musical family”; round table; monitoring of the parents' demand for psychology, pedagogical and methodological support of the process of family music-playing.
