PROSE OF DOCTORS AND ABOUT DOCTORS AS A MATERIAL OF PHILOLOGICAL RESEARCH

The phenomenon of physicians' prose has been ascertained in contemporary litera- ture. Practicing physicians often write about medicine. Fictions as the object of linguistic analysis are reviewed in this article. So medical prose can be attributed to the professional lit- erature, as it depicts the world of medicine from within, draws attention to many professional problems. Medical prose is an attempt to overcome the stereotype of negative perception of the doctor's image. It often helps to make this humor, created through various ways and tech- niques. At the same time, medical prose has some peculiarities: for example, most of the works about the everyday life of a medical institution are short stories. Therefore, the author faces a difficult task: to transfer the maximum amount of information in a small volume. Lin- guistic ways to achieve this goal should be the subject of a study of linguistics
