Abstract
Long-term planning should be a priority for enterprises, in order to adapt to the challenges of enterprise environments. The goal of each strategically oriented companies in defining and implementing strategies that will lead to gain competitive advantage. In this paper, the focus is testing the existence of strategic decision-making environment in which hotels operate, compliance methods and techniques to strategy, capacity building in the implementation of the of hotel strategies. Research included 52 managers of hotels categorized with 4 and 5 star hotels in Serbia. The aim of the work is to determine capacities hotel companies to implement strategic decisions. In that way it is possible to conclude to what extent the business results are in accordance with the fulfillment of the strategic objectives.
