Abstract

In this paper, the effects of slot loaded microstrip antennas are presented. Two Rectangular slots of size 2.282 mm × 6 mm are loaded on to the microstrip antenna and their performance is observed. The variation in parameters like 10db bandwidth, resonant frequency, Return loss, Radiation Pattern, VSWR curve presented. Compact design of a dual band microstrip antenna which resonates at two different frequencies of 7.14 GHz and 9.6393 GHz is presented.
