Abstract

This article examines the use of images of a Griffin, lion and Sphinx in Mycenaean palaces of Knossos and Pylos. Discusses the meaning of these attributes as symbols associated with Apollo and Alicia in the bronze age and the origins of these meanings in the ancient Greek culture. Shown and studied as well one of the attributes Elisei, with whom she often depicted the Serpent of wisdom, and studied the names of the Serpent, and the way to worship him. It is proved that giving gifts in swamps in the Indo-European bronze age culture, are the victims of Issaya (Jazhe, Isse), and these sacrifices were offered not only in Denmark, and in all the regions of propagation of Indo-European culture, and you can expect many finds, as yet undiscovered by archaeologists precisely because of this ritual.
