Abstract
In article the material presented by the authors at the scientific conference “the Art of cinema and intercultural dialogue” (November 14—16, 2016, St-Petersburg). Analyzes the role of literature and cinema in the comprehension of peculiarities of the national culture. The subject of discussion becomes the newest adaptation of two novellas Nenets writer Anna Nerkagi. There is speculation that the film may sometimes be in a “strong position” in the light of national cultural material than the literary source or a documentary film. On the one hand, he is able to give succinct multilateral visualization of different aspects of national life, on the other hand, is winning its focus is not on scientific research but on creative comprehension of the phenomenon of national culture. In this case plan of poetics actualizes, and national-specific fit in a universal context, which is important for the presentation of the material to a wider audience.
