Abstract
The article is devoted to the issues of surrealism development in the context of the Russian artistic tradition. The images of Russian surrealism, as well as European, are polyvalent and polysemantic, but a number of specific features form a unique Russian tradition in this world artistic phenomenon. Modern Russian artists, consistently and purposefully using surrealistic method in their work, are presented.
