Construction and Standardization of Scale to Measure Attitude towards Educational Networking through Social Media

The paper reports details of the development and standardization of scale on Attitude towards educational networking through social media. The scale at preliminary level consisted of 45 items and after evaluation by the experts, items were reduced to 35. In the first try out, after item analysis, items were further reduced to 25. In the final try out and after item analysis, the items were finally reduced to 24. The reliability of the scale was calculated using Cronbach alpha and it was found to be 0.83. For validity, face , content and construct validity were performed and scale developed was validated by the experts. Scoring of the scale was done using Likert five-point scale i.e., Strongly Agree - 5, Agree - 4, Undecided - 3, Disagree - 2 and Strongly Disagree - 1.
