National Education Ministers and Educational Activities (1999-2016)

In this study, the educational activities of the people who worked as Minister of National Education from 1999 to 2016 were investigated. Using the literature survey method, the educational activities of 7 ministers including Nabi AVCI, Minister of Education of the 64th Government of the AK Party, which is the government of the 57th Coalition Government, Metin Bostanci, who was in power in 1999, were examined. It has been determined that there are differences in opinion between the coalition parties and the single party in terms of education, and that the governments established by the same party have different practices even among the Ministers of National Education.
