Abstract

The article deals with the problem of analysis and interpretation of historical sources in history lessons. In many ways, a historical source is a necessary component for the concept of the historical context and the very age. The classification of documents used in teaching history. The role of the instrument in improving the cognitive independence of students as a means of organizing the work. Attention is given to the author's approach I.Y. Lerner and N. Dairy in working with historical sources.
