The main sources of law in Russia are the Constitution of the Russian Federation adopted in 1993, Federal constitutional laws, Federal laws, decrees and orders of the President of the Russian Federation, decisions and orders of the Government of the Russian Federation, departmental acts of Federal bodies of Executive power, the Constitution (statutes) of constituent entities of the Russian Federation, laws of constituent entities of the Russian Federation, acts of the Executive authorities of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, acts of local authorities; the sources of law are international treaties and agreements, if they were duly ratified by the Russian Federation.
