CRIMINAL LIABILITY FOR ENVIRONMENTAL OFFENCES

The article deals with peculiarities of criminal liability for environmental offences. Currently, the ecological situation in our country is extremely unfavorable. On the background of the development of scientific and technical progress, which often causes the deterioration of the natural environment, environmental problems have become quite significant. Among the legal measures to combat offences in this area, a special role belongs to the criminal law which establishes liability for the most dangerous attacks.
